Bring a "Second Set of Ears"


Many patients have benefited from having a second set of ears. What does this mean? It is helpful to bring a close friend or family member to your appointment. Reasons to bring someone with you:

 

  • Those who know you well will have a perspective on your hearing situation that will be helpful to the audiologist.
  • We need to have a familiar voice to aid in the testing.
  • You will get a lot of information about your hearing and it’s good to have someone help you remember it.
